Monument Valley / New Mexico Balloon Flight
Your Monument Valley / Hot Air Balloon Flight will be one of the most memorable and
exhilarating vacation experiences of a lifetime. To answer some of your flight questions
we've prepared a summary of the arrangements and events that will take place in
connection with your memorable flight.
Your Reservation Will Include
- 1 night's lodging @ Monument Valley Hotel in Kayenta, Arizona
While 'NO LODGING' reservations are accepted, due to the early morning nature of our balloon rides
(i.e. - sunirse), you will need to setup lodging in the area for the evening prior to your balloon ride .
Please see our Rates page for detail pricing, which is dependant upon the number of
passengers in YOUR party, and your lodging requirement.
All entrance fees (including backcountry permit fees).
Navajo guide during the land portion of your adventure as we drive into Monument Valley, who will explain the legends, history, and way of life of the Navajo people.
Several photo stops while enroute to our launch site to capture some of the most incredible photography imaginable.
- Approximate 1-hour balloon flight onboard our balloons, which are designed to provide the ultimate in safety and comfort.
The total length of your flight will depend upon wind conditions (i.e. - wind speed and direction), and available landing sites, for your safety and comfort.
Post-flight continental breakfast celebration at our landing site, complete with tablecloths, chilled orange juice, sodas, water, assorted pastries & muffins, and fruit basket.
Presentation of personalized Hot Air Balloon Flight Certificates, commemorating your incredible ascension in a Hot Air Balloon over Monument Valley, including the official Monument Valley Tribal Park stamp.
Tour to backcountry areas, to either incredible sandstone arches, such as "Big Hogan", "Ear of the Wind", and "Sun's Eye", ancient cliff dwellings such as Little House or Square House, OR, a special visit with a Navajo family in their traditional setting (Hogan) for a weaving demonstration of the famous Navajo Blankets and a up-close look at the Navajo way of life.
Our customary post-flight Backcountry Tour will take us to the arches or to ancient cliff dwellings, depending upon the location of our landing site. Occasionally, we will visit with one of the Navajo families for the blanket weaving demonstration, based upon scheduling.
At the end of the tour you will be returned to the Monument Valley Visitors Center.
